I just want to let you know that I arrived back last night from Michigan were I signed all the necessary documents and went over my car with a fine toothed comb and put 108 miles in my day and half there. It vested the MGM Grand casino, and downtown Detroit. I dropped it off yesterday at a transport company named Reliable Carriers Inc. They are the only carrier that ships for Daimler Chrysler, they hold the contract. Of course I was terribly worried in the aspect of transporting my car, but as soon as I pulled up I was put at ease with their establishment. Very clean profession, courteous and extremely careful. Each load is insured for $2 million dollars. There must have been 15 Prowlers that I could see, including a 70' barracuda 34' ford and two custom vehicles from Chevrolet (prototype type stuff). So far I highly recommend them to anyone. While there I purchased a digital camera like I said and took some pics including with my 35mm camera. I just tried do download them but the cable from camera to comp. is a 9-pin and I do not have a nine pit port all I have left is a joystick port which is bigger. I am going to go to Best Buy and try to find out what I can do to get this downloaded so I can show them to you. One things for sure the car does not get good M.P.G.'s, roughly 13-14. I already ordered AMS oil for the diff and engine, that should help 2-3 M.P.G.'s from my previous experiences with their products. I drove to a local mailboxes etc. in Michigan parked the car and took off the grill with a #2 phillips screwdriver then called Custom Coatings were Larry Lord told me he got his grill chromed to let them now I was going to ship them the grill overnight figuring I will not get my car for 2 weeks so let me do this, it will prob. take 7-10 days max to chrome then ship to me next day air. I said thank you, hung up, then proceeded to reinstall my grill in the parking lot of mailboxes etc. and proceeded to drive back to the dealer so I could follow the sales man to the transport company. I would like to find out if someone has a stock grill no matter what color so I could purchase it from them (if its worth it for me) so I could ship that one to them for chroming, and still drive my new kitten. If you know of anybody please send them my e-mail. I already purchased a set of PIAA 9005 bulbs for the lights ( used them on my other cars and they work great, they emit more of a white light than yellow, you can really tell at night on the highway were there are not so many lights and the cars' lights next to you are yellowish. Also a K&N drop in filter. As soon as I can download pics I will E-mail them to you.
