I heard the Borla system for the Prowler but does not satify my ears. I want a much throttier sound wave.
I had once a Grand Am (V6, 2.5 Liter) with a stock muffler and purchased a Magna Flo muffler and
my Grand Am exhaust sound was more throttier than my Prowler. I have resorted to do research and
determine what will give my Prowler that close to V8 sound as possible. I have purchased some
aftermarket high performance muffler exhaust pieces for foreign cars and will venture into testing
them out on my Prowler.
I have heard these mufflers on some 4 cylinder engines and their sound is alot more throttier than my Prowler.
The exhaust pieces are a little bigger than what is already on my Prowler but will venture into this project anyway.
I will figure out how to fit them without inflicting damage!
If 4 cylinder engines can sound lower than my Prowler with these pieces, then my V6 3.5 liter has too sound lower!
HOW LOW CAN YOU GO!!
I'm going to remove the stock muffler underneath my Prowler and replace it with straight pipes. I will then
replace my tips with these aftermarket high performance muffler exhaust pieces for foreign cars. I'm expecting
a lower exhaust note than what I have already! Here are some pics of what I'm looking at!
